The ticket for pupils and trainees can be purchased at a reduced price at the KVV customer center (for 2 zones the reduction is approx. 50%). A confirmation from the jfbw is required to purchase the ticket. This confirmation is issued if a current rejection notice regarding the costs of school transport for education and participation (BuT) is presented. In addition, proof of education is required from the age of 15.

The 9 o'clock tickets of the KVV are reduced for Karlruher pass owners with residence Karlsruhe city. The 9 o'clock ticket 2 zones for the city area costs about half, the 9 o'clock tickets with three and more zones can also be partially subsidized. Tickets with Karlsruhe Pass can be purchased (exclusively) at the Customer Center.

The KVV Holiday Pass is valid for the entire KVV network during the summer vacations. With the Karlsruhe Children's Pass, the Holiday Pass is 50% off. The vacation pass is available at the customer center at Marktplatz. For young people aged 15 and over, proof of school attendance must be presented at the time of purchase.
