Extension Social Region – Karlsruher Pass 65PLUS in Weingarten (Baden)
Since 01.01.2018, the Karlsruhe Pass for adults over the age of 65 can also be applied for in Weingarten (Baden). On 04.12.2017, the mayor of the city of Karlsruhe, Martin Lenz, and the mayor of Weingarten, Eric Bänziger, signed a corresponding cooperation agreement. For the first time, residents of the district of Karlsruhe can also purchase a monthly ticket for the KVV (from 65 onwards) at a reduced rate as owners of the Karlsruher Pass from Weingarten.

Extension Social Region – Waldbronn 65PLUS
On 10.12.2018 the lord mayor of Karlsruhe, Dr. Frank Mentrup signed another cooperation agreement with the mayor of Waldbronn Franz Masino. Residents in Waldbronn aged 65 and older can get the Karlsruhe Pass from 01.1.2019, which includes the KVV card 65PLUS and education vouchers 60PLUS worth 120 €.

Extension Social Region – Bruchsaler Kinder- und Jugendpass

With Bruchsal, since May 2019, the first medium regional center has been part of the Social Region. On 22.05.2019, Martin Lenz, mayor of Karlsruhe and Cornelia Petzold-Schick, mayor of Bruchsal, signed the cooperation agreement, which makes the Bruchsal Children and Youth Pass available to children and young people from Bruchsal.

Extension Social Region – Stutensee 65PLUS
Together with Petra Becker (Oberbürgermeisterin Stutensee), Dr. Frank Mentrup (Oberbürgermeister Karlsruhe) signed in Stutensee the cooperation agreement, which permits the use of the Karlsruhe Pass including the KVV card from 65 and the education vouchers 60PLUS worth 120 € from 01.04.2019 to residents of 65 years and older from Stutensee.

Subsidy Cargo bike

The city of Karlsruhe subsidizes the purchase of cargo bicycles with 800 € for families with at least one child under 18 years of age, of cargo e-bicycles with 1.200 €. With the children's pass from Karlsruhe a further subsidy of 200 € is possible. Families without a car also receive an environmental bonus of 500 €. The program is currently exhausted, applications will be placed on a waiting list. Application forms are available at www.karlsruhe.de/radverkehr.
