The developments of the past few months show it quite clearly: More and more children, young people and senior citizens are no longer able to participate in social activities. Media reports and statistics bear this out. .

But we want to give all children and young people, as well as senior citizens, access to leisure and educational facilities. That is why we have taken a significant step towards equal opportunities and participation in social life by joining the Karlsruhe Children's Pass (2017) and the Karlsruhe Senior Citizens' Pass 65 plus (December 2018)..

The Kinderpass has been valid in Waldbronn since August 1, 2017. I am deeply convinced of its necessity and importance. With the provision of the approved funds by the municipal council, the prerequisites have been created to be able to support the families concerned. But we have not

forgotten the senior citizens. Since January 1, 2019, this age group in Waldbronn has also had the opportunity to apply for the Karlsruhe Passport. It applies to our older fellow citizens from the age of 65. The special feature in Waldbronn: In addition to various discounts, you can also purchase the discounted KVV "Card from 65".

Two attractive facilities, the open-air swimming pool and the ice rink, are available, which we know are particularly popular with young people and children. Incidentally, the children's pass also allows participation in our varied vacation program.
