Expansion Social Region
Since 01.01.2018, the adult's Karlsruher Pass can also be applied for in Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen. On May 15, 2017, Lord Mayor of Karlsruhe, Dr. Frank Mentrup, and the Mayor of Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen, Bernd Stober, signed a corresponding cooperation agreement.

Extension Social Region – Karlsruher Pass 65PLUS in Weingarten (Baden)
Since 01.01.2018, the Karlsruhe Pass for adults over the age of 65 can also be applied for in Weingarten (Baden). On 04.12.2017, the mayor of the city of Karlsruhe, Martin Lenz, and the mayor of Weingarten, Eric Bänziger, signed a corresponding cooperation agreement. For the first time, residents of the district of Karlsruhe can also purchase a monthly ticket for the KVV (from 65 onwards) at a reduced rate as owners of the Karlsruher Pass from Weingarten.

Subsidy Cargo bike / Fahrrad

In recent years, the city of Karlsruhe has launched temporary subsidy programmes for the purchase of cargo bikes. There was an increased subsidy for families with a Karlsruhe Pass.
