Extension SocialRegion – Karlsruher Kinderpass Waldbronn
The cooperation agreement for the introduction of the Karlsruhe Kinderpass was signed by Franz Masino, Mayor of Waldbronn, and Dr. Frank MEntrup, Lord Mayor of the City of Karlsruhe, in Waldbronn's town hall on July 18, 2017, making the Karlsruhe Kinderpass available to Waldbronn children and young people from August 1, 2017.

Start of the SozialRegion
On March 20, 2013, the city of Stutensee was the first municipality to join the Karlsruhe children's pass. The starting date for issuing the first children's passes is May 2nd, 2013. This means that children and young people from Stutensee can use the Karlsruhe children's passes to the full extent, as well as Karlsruhe children can use the discounts in Stutensee. This special occasion was honored by Klaus Demal, mayor of the city of Stutensee, in the presence of employees from Stutensee and representatives from Karlsruhe

KVV Monthly Tickets / Monatskarte
The monthly tickets of the KVV are reduced for owners of the "Karlsruher Pass" exclusivly with residence Karlsruhe Stadt. The monthly ticket 2 zones cost about half. Other monthly tickets can also be partially subsidized. The monthly tickets can only be purchased at the customer center.

Stadwerke Karlsruhe WINTERZEIT / Schlittschuhlaufen
Every year, the "WINTERZEIT" event organized by the Stadtwerke Karlsruhe transforms the Karlsruhe's Schlossplatz into a unique winter wonderland. With the Karlsruhe Pass and Karlsruhe Children's Pass, the fun is even greater, as there is a 50% discount at the ice rink.

Season Ticket Outdoor Pools / Saisonkarte
Starting 25.04.2025, the discounted swimming season tickets for Karlsruhe's outdoor pools will be available. For adults with the discount only 72 €, for children 32 €. Please bring a passport-sized photo, cash or 60PLUS education vouchers.
The outdoor pool season starts on 01.05.2024 in the Sonnenbad, the other outdoor pools open later.

The single entry is reduced by 50 % at the following public pools: Rheinstrandbad Rappenwört, Sonnenbad, swimming pool Rüppurr and Turmbergbad. With the Karlruher Kinderpass children and others entitled to entry with discount get also a reduction of 50 %.
