With Bad Schönborn and the introduction of both the Karlsruhe Children's Pass and the Karlsruhe Pass, the circle of municipalities participating in the SozialRegion expands to ten cities and municipalities on March 27, 2020. With the signing of the cooperation agreement by Detlev Huge, Mayor of Bad Schönborn, and Dr. Frank Mentrup, Lord Mayor of the City of Karlsruhe, the path to more participation in the region is clear for the residents of Bad Schönborn.
In addition to the Karlsruhe Children's Pass, the Karlsruhe Pass for adults is now available for the residents of Pfinztal. On 01.03.2022, the Mayor of Karlsruhe, Dr. Frank Mentrup, and the Mayor of Pfinztal, Nicola Bodner, signed the cooperation agreement. This means that not only people from Pfinztal can benefit from the discounts of the Karlsruhe Pass, but also pass holders from all municipalities of the SozialRegion can participate in the offers in Pfinztal.p>
Karlsruhe Pass holders can obtain a voucher for 50 per cent off the placement fee. This voucher can be obtained by means of an email and a picture of the Karlsruhe Pass attached, Jobruf will then send the corresponding voucher directly.

On the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the SozialRegion, the first municipality to join, the city of Stutensee, hosted a symposium on the SozialRegion. In addition to expert input and a panel discussion, the mayors of the participating cities and municipalities and representatives of the district signed a charter against poverty.
